Trump’s approval among his base has remained largely unchanged since the start of his second term, despite what many of us see as the loss of our democracy and the erosion of truth.
Trump will say outright lies – about immigrants, for example – then move on to the next fabricated emergency without having to face contrary evidence. Those video clips are what his base sees, and there is real harm being done behind those lies.
In these unsettling times, I urge everyone to explore independent and local news sources with an open mind. When in doubt, follow the money – or the Epstein files.
