SCAPE starting loaned executive program

Organization also hosting Innovate HER competition

Starting in 2016, the Southwest Colorado Accelerator Program for Entrepreneurs will begin a new loaned executive program.

To take advantage of all of the talent and knowledge in the community, local businesses will be asked to loan their exceptional employees for a few hours to the SCAPE curriculum. This is a great and fun way to work with local entrepreneurs in an individual’s area of expertise.

SCAPE is accepting applications for the next session. The 2015 curriculum is posted on the website to show what the program entails. For 2016 we will be accepting companies for acceleration with an investment or incubation for a co-working space and program fee.

Innovate HER competition

In conjunction with the application process SCAPE is hosting an Innovate HER competition through the Small Business Administration. This competition provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs throughout the U.S. to showcase products and services that have a measurable impact on the lives of women, have the potential for commercialization, and fill a need in the marketplace.

Visit the SBA website for more info, and local dates will be posted on the SCAPE website soon.

SCAPE also recently received a $25,000 Joint Opportunities for Building Success Grant through Alpine Bank.

Our mission is to help create more high growth, job creating companies in Southwest Colorado; through offering an Accelerator Program which provides access to funding, education, and intense mentoring and subject matter experts to startups and early stage companies.
