The San Ignacio Fiesta committee in Ignacio has announced the cancellation of the annual San Ignacio Fiesta celebration scheduled for July 25 and July 26.

The committee agreed canceling the event was in the best interest of the community and festival supporters. This year would have marked the 120th year of celebrating the community.

All events typically involve large crowds, and the festival did not have the resources and volunteers to implement safety standards to maintain social distancing.
