Reversal of Roe 'could get ugly’

If you are a highly religious woman and have strong feelings against abortion, you are protected and Roe does not hurt you. You may start your family as your God guides you. Whether you are age 16 or 26, nothing but good health stands in your way. I wish you all the blessings motherhood may bring.

Roe also protects the woman who desires to go to medical school, become a research scientist and cure cancer, for example. This woman may value motherhood and family but needs to wait.

There are families with three to six kids and another child is just not financially possible. Or the teen who finds herself in dire crisis and future goals will end before they begin.

Can you understand why 71% of American families support Roe? The right to decide for themselves but not the right to make others submit to one particular belief.

The reversal of Roe will hurt women, families, healthcare, businesses, education, on and on. It most probably will lead to more civil rights violations that will tell us who we can love and marry or whether birth control will be available. It removes the right to medical privacy as bounty hunters report women, doctors, nurses, anyone who assists women needing reproductive healthcare. It leads to felonies for healthcare workers who may assist a 14-year-old impregnated by a rapist father or uncle. Yes, SCOTUS’ reversal of Roe could get this ugly.
