On Saturday, my sons put two flags on my husband’s grave. They were still there on Sunday night. On Memorial Day, they were gone: stolen. Really? Taking something from a veteran’s plot? I can see the flags from his headstone. I know the names on the headstones that they now adorn. How sad these people would feel if they only knew. So please return the flags. I do not wish to steal them back. Really.
