Registration is now open for the third annual Mancos Half Marathon and 5K a fundraiser for Mancos Public Library.

This year’s event, on Saturday, June 25, is expected to be bigger than ever.

Organizers are adding a 5K run to the event geared for people of all ages and running abilities. Also, organizers said they are improving the halfmarathon course by making it a loop and adding mixed terrain of paved and dirt roads, as well as trails.

And a Fun Run and other opportunities such as yoga demonstrations, dancing and kids’ races will be added.

Early bird registration rates are available until March 31. A variety of event sponsorship opportunities are also available which include free registration and other great benefits.
