Registration is open for the 2026 Mancos Summer Hub, a summer camp program that offers structured daytime programming for children in Mancos from incoming kindergarten through incoming eighth grade.
The program is operated by Mancos United and runs Mondays through Thursdays from June 8 through July 23, excluding the week beginning June 29. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and families are encouraged to use the core 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. window.
Aftercare is available with prior notice. Children and their parents must live, work or learn in Mancos to participate.
Though the program costs about $75 per day to operate, families will not be turned away if they cannot pay. A $50 deposit is requested at registration and may be paid by cash or check.
Registration closes April 15. Families can sign up online at bit.ly/4muWUTC. Bilingual paper forms are also available by request.
Bilingual paper forms are available by request. Registration requires basic information, requested dates and what families can pay per day, along with activity ideas, “music that makes them dance,” and any support children may need.

Parents and caregivers reported reduced stress and said the program helped them work and earn income, while also providing summer employment for teacher-certified staff.
Last summer, the Mancos Summer Hub served an average of 60 children per day and more than 100 children during six weeks of full-day programming.
This year, Mancos United is launching an organizational partnership program, offering local businesses and organizations community recognition in exchange for financial support of the hub. Partners will be featured across promotional materials, the Summer Hub website, newsletters and social media.
Organizations that commit by Wednesday will join current partners Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, El Pomar, SGM in Durango, A Smile by Design and Slavens True Value in Cortez, and local Mancos businesses Mesa Verde Motel, P & D Grocery, Alpacka Raft, Mancos Brewery, Mancos Opera House and Pay it Forward.
Interest forms and donations to support the program are accepted through Mancos United on their website at www.mancosunited.org.
