Region 9 Economic Development District of Southwest Colorado is updating the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy, which includes Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma, San Juan counties and the Southern Ute and Ute Mountain Ute tribes.

The purpose of the CEDS is to assist people, organizations and programs that support equitable job and wealth creation across the region as well as maintaining and improving the quality of life in Southwest Colorado.

The CEDS provides data that can be used to obtain grants for local projects and helps to solicit funding collaboratively to meet changing economic and business conditions across the region.

To provide input, visit www.region9edd.org or visit the Region 9 office at 135 Burnett Drive to access a paper copy of the CEDS and input form. Comments will be collected through Aug. 15.
