American Red Cross of Western Colorado announced the opening of an office in Durango at 700 Main Ave.

The new office will provide a base of operations for Southwest Colorado employees and volunteers and provide space for training, community meetings and partner engagement.

Red Cross staff will host an open house 3:30-5:30 p.m., Friday, April 29. Employees and volunteers will answer questions and share information about the mission of the American Red Cross.
