A pump drains Centennial Park pond as Mark Boblitt watches for fish to save. The pond hadn’t been cleaned out since it was built in 1986. The muck will be cleaned out, and a new pump and pipe will be installed to bring fresh irrigation water in to prevent algae buildup. Fish from the pond are being transported to Denny Lake.
