Sept. 4

1:20 a.m.: An officer responded to the National 9 Inn, 301 W. Main St., for a domestic violence report. A woman was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault with a domestic violence enhancer after allegedly punching her boyfriend in the face multiple times.

6:54 p.m.: An officer responded to Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., for a shoplifting attempt involving items worth $967.15. The female suspect was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with a revoked license, violation of registration provisions and operating an unsafe vehicle.

Sept. 6

12:59 p.m.: An officer responded to City Market, 508 E. Main St., for an unwanted person. A man was found lying near a van at 17 N. Harrison St., and he was arrested on suspicion of trespassing after prior removal from the property. He was taken to Southwest Memorial Hospital for medical clearance before being transported to the Montezuma County Detention Center.

Sept. 7

1:41 a.m.: An officer responded to 200 S. Elm St. for a chemical smell. A woman was suspected of drug activity, and a search of her room revealed a suspected fentanyl pill and other suspected drug paraphernalia. She was arrested on suspicion of possession of less than one gram fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant.

11:30 a.m.: An officer responded to the National 9 Inn, 301 W. Main St., for an intoxicated man on the sidewalk. He allegedly violated a protection order by possessing alcohol and was taken to Southwest Memorial Hospital, where he received a summons for the suspected violation.

1:03 p.m.: An officer responded to Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., for a disturbance. A woman with two warrants was arrested.

3:35 p.m.: An officer responded to City Market, 508 E. Main St., for a parking lot collision. A man in a gray vehicle hit a parked car and fled. He was found unconscious with alcohol containers in the vehicle, and he was arrested on suspicion of DUI, careless driving, failing to give information after damaging another vehicle and open alcoholic containers in a motor vehicle.

4:55 p.m.: An officer responded to the Front Row Seat parking lot, 610 E. Main St., for a disturbance. A man threatened a vendor and 911 caller, and he was arrested on suspicion of menacing and booked at the Montezuma County Jail.

Sept. 9

9:46 a.m.: An officer responded to the Pinon Project, 210 E. Main St., after spotting a woman with a warrant. She was arrested on suspicion of the warrant and taken to the Montezuma County Detention Center.

9:55 p.m.: An officer responded to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., for a warrant service. Two women turned themselves in and were served with warrants, then left in jail custody.

Sept. 10

1:08 p.m.: An officer responded to the Pinon Project, 210 E. Main St., for trespassing. A woman was arrested on suspicion of open container and resisting arrest/interfering with an officer.

4:44 p.m.: An officer responded to Shiloh’s Steakhouse, 5 S. Veach St., for a disturbance. A man allegedly refused to leave and threatened officers with a beer bottle before being arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest, menacing and disorderly conduct.
