Thursday, Aug. 14

9:12 a.m.: Officers responded to 806 S. Oak St. to remove individuals from a condemned property. Two men were arrested on warrants.

9:37 a.m.: An officer responded to Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., for a warrant service. A woman was arrested on a warrant.

9:30 a.m.: An officer responded to the 300 block of South Madison Street for a man with a warrant. He was found on a bicycle and was arrested for the warrant and a protection order violation after a hatchet was found in his backpack.

7:28 p.m.: An officer responded to Sleeping Ute Apartments, 516 S. Madison St., for reported trespassing. A man, previously banned, was arrested after being found inside a residence.

9:23 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle at East Montezuma Avenue and North Park Street for expired registration and a nonfunctioning brake light. The woman driver was arrested on a warrant.

Friday, Aug. 15

7:40 p.m.: An officer responded to the Cortez Public Library, 202 N. Park St., for reports of open alcohol containers. A man, previously banned, was issued a citation for trespassing. Another man was allowed to leave.

Saturday, Aug. 16

2:21 p.m.: An officer responded to Maverik, 455 N. State St., for an altercation. A man was issued a summons for harassment after video showed him spitting on a truck driver.

10:36 p.m.: An officer responded to the 600 block of E. Main St. for individuals in the road. A man was arrested for alleged theft and violating a protection order that states he shall not possess or consume alcohol. The alcohol was allegedly stolen from Speedway. A woman was allowed to leave.

Sunday, Aug. 17

8:45 a.m.: An officer responded to City Market, 508 E. Main St., for shoplifting. A man, who was located at the Pinon Project, was issued a citation for shoplifting and open container. He was also banned from City Market.

11:05 a.m.: An officer responded to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve a woman with a warrant.

1:23 p.m.: An officer at Parque de Vida, 400 N. Mildred Rd., found two individuals with open alcohol. A man, banned from the parks for a week, was arrested on suspicion of open container, possession of alcohol in the park, littering and trespassing, while a woman received a citation.

8:20 p.m.: An officer responded to the Cultural Center, 25 N. Market St., for trespassing. A man, previously banned, was issued a citation for trespassing and told to leave.

Monday, Aug. 18

9:12 a.m.: An officer responded to Sleeping Ute Apartments, 516 S. Madison St., for trespassing. A man and woman, both banned, were issued citations. The man was arrested and taken to Montezuma County Detention Center.

7:28 p.m.: An officer at Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Rd., arrested a man on suspicion of violating a protection order by being near a protected woman.

7:43 p.m.: An officer responded to East Second Street and South Mildred Road for a man wielding an ax. He was arrested on a warrant.

Tuesday, Aug. 19

12:41 a.m.: An officer at Front Row Seat, 610 E. Main St., found two individuals sleeping in the parking lot. A woman was arrested on warrants.

12:18 p.m.: An officer responded to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., where a woman turned herself in on a warrant.

9:18 p.m.: An officer responded to Speedway, 921 E. Main St., for aN unconscious man. The man was issued a citation for trespassing and transported to Southwest Memorial Hospital.

Wednesday, Aug. 20

6:48 a.m.: An officer responded to Silver Lining Recovery, 45 S. Washington St., for a woman trespassing on video. The woman was ocated at Pinion Project, 210 E. Main St., and was issued a citation for trespassing.

9:25 a.m.: An officer at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., arrested a man on suspicion of violating a protection order that states he shall not possess or consume alcohol. He was issued a permanent park ban. Another man was verbally trespassed for the day.

1:31 p.m.: Officers responded to East Montezuma Avenue and Mildred Road and arrested a man on warrants after erratic behavior. A woman allegedly interfered in the arrest and was arrested on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.

2:08 p.m.: An officer responded to Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., for shoplifting. A woman was issued a citation for shoplifting and was banned from the store.

5:37 p.m.: An officer responded to Safeway, 1580 E. Main St., for shoplifting. A man, previously banned, was arrested on suspicion of burglary. Two others were banned from the store.
