12:08 p.m.: An officer responded to North Linden St., near The Eclipse, following a warrant service initiated in the area of Maple Street. A woman was arrested.
3:47 p.m.: An officer responded to the Pinon Project, 210 E. Main St., after a report of a disturbance involving a knife threat. A man and a woman were involved in a verbal altercation over an alleged stolen phone, each accusing the other of threatening with a knife. Both were arrested on suspicion of felony menacing.
7:01 p.m.: An officer responded to Main Street Storage Units, 1211 E. Main St., after a report of a man threatening to “skin alive” another individual. The man was arrested on suspicion of attempted assault on a peace officer, attempted assault on a police officer, harassment, resisting arrest and obstruction.
8:38 p.m.: An officer responded to Cork N Bottle Liquors, 443 E. Main St., regarding a theft of a bottle of Saint Benjamin Irish Cream, which occurred the previous day. The man allegedly returned and attempted another theft but was identified and apprehended at Speedway after fleeing. He was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting, theft, resisting arrest and obstruction and banned from multiple locations.
8:18 a.m.: An officer responded to the Rec Center, 425 N. Roger Smith Ave., for a report of an unwanted person without a membership. The man was found to have two warrants, and he was arrested.
10:21 a.m.: An officer responded to Cozy Inn, 440 S. Broadway, regarding a potential break-in at one of the rooms. A man had allegedly attempted to access the room by kicking the door and trying to pry it open, causing damage to the door jamb. He was issued a summons for third-degree criminal trespass and criminal mischief.
7:33 p.m.: An officer, while at City Market, 508 E. Main St., observed a man previously banned from the store. He was reminded of the ban and issued a citation for trespassing.
8:34 p.m.: An officer conducted a traffic stop near North Dolores Road and Hawkins Street after a vehicle ran a stop sign. The front passenger, a man, had two warrants and was arrested. Open alcohol containers were found in the vehicle, but the female driver passed sobriety tests. The woman was cited for the stop sign violation.
1:05 a.m.: An officer responded to a residence on Sixth Street after a woman requested police assistance via a neighbor. A man allegedly advanced toward the officer, leading to a physical altercation where a palm heel strike was used. The man was arrested on suspicion of interfering with an officer.
11:54 a.m.: An officer observed a woman with a warrant walking near North Broadway and Lebanon Road. During the arrest, a suspected meth pipe and baggie with residue were found in her possession. She was booked on the warrant and charged with suspected possession of drug paraphernalia.
1:18 p.m.: An officer responded to The Pie Maker, 17 N. Harrison St., for a disturbance involving a man screaming and pacing in an alleyway. He was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace, and a marijuana pipe and baggie with residue were found during a search.
2:12 a.m.: A woman reported to police that she had been attacked by three women at the First United Methodist Church, 515 N. Park St. The suspects were located, and all three were arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault, with one also charged with obstructing a peace officer.
3:21 p.m.: An officer responded to Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., for a theft that occurred on July 2, where an employee allegedly took $40 left at a self-checkout machine. She was issued a summons for theft.
8:37 p.m.: An officer responded to Liquid Assets Liquor Store, 718 E. Main St., for a theft of a bottle of Epic Vodka. A man allegedly took the bottle, handed it to another individual and was verbally aggressive when confronted. The man was issued a citation for shoplifting and three men were banned from the store.
12:35 p.m.: An officer responded to White Eagle Inn, 2110 S. Broadway, for a trespassing incident involving a man who had been banned earlier. He was issued a citation for trespassing.
1:17 p.m.: An officer contacted a man near Beech Street and North Street with a warrant. He was arrested and transported to the Montezuma County Detention Center.
6:50 p.m.: An officer responded to Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., for a shoplifting incident involving a man previously banned from the store. He was uncooperative, resisted arrest, assaulted officers by kicking and threatened to harm and kill their families. He was arrested on suspicion of burglary, obstruction, resisting arrest and assault.
