Thursday, July 3

1:25 a.m.: An officer responded to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve a man a warrant.

8:21 p.m.: An officer went to Oak Meadows Trailer Park, 405 W. Seventh St., following a 911 call about a domestic disturbance. A woman told police that a man she had previously been in a relationship with had punched, kicked and choked her. The man was arrested on warrants and on suspicion of third-degree assault and second-degree assault for domestic violence.

Friday, July 4

12:19 p.m.: An officer on foot patrol at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., noticed a man acting abnormally and confirmed a warrant, arresting him after he hugged a woman who allegedly didn’t know him.

9:46 p.m.: An officer responded to Parque De Vida, 400 N. Mildred Rd., for a woman allegedly interfering with fireworks, arresting her on suspicion of obstruction and third-degree trespassing.

Saturday, July 5

1:48 p.m.: An officer went to City Market, 508 E. Main St., for an unwanted man sleeping outside, arresting him after finding a warrant.

2:46 p.m.: An officer observed a man with an open beer at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., and arrested him on suspicion of violating a protection order that states he shall not possess or consume alcohol.

7:08 p.m.: An officer responded to Oak Meadows Trailer Park, 405 W. Seventh St., and arrested a man on a warrant. He was also banned from Big R.

11:16 p.m.: An officer patrolling near City Market, 508 E. Main St., who had been previously banned from the store, was cited on suspicion of third-degree trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sunday, July 6

1:45 p.m.: An officer noticed two men with open containers at 610 E. Main St. One was arrested on suspicion of obstruction of a peace officer and offenses related to marijuana.

3:01 p.m.: An officer responded to City Market, 508 E. Main St., for a woman who had allegedly stolen alcohol. She was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary and third-degree criminal trespass once she was located near Burger Boy.

6:36 p.m.: An officer stopped a man on a bicycle near West Seventh St. with four warrants and arrested him.

7:17 p.m.: An officer searched for robbery suspects after they allegedly stole $309.14 worth of items from Walmart, 1835 E. Main St. Police were seeking the first man on suspicion of robbery and theft and the other for alleged obstruction and being an accessory in a crime. One of the men was arrested on July 9.

10:10 p.m.: An officer pursued a man on a bicycle without a light from South Beech Street to Mountain View Trailer Park, 815 S. Chestnut St., arresting him on warrants.

10:35 p.m.: An officer responded to Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., for a disturbance. Though the disturbance ended up being unfounded, he arrested a woman with warrants.

Monday, July 7

5:01 a.m.: An officer responded to a home on Pine Street for a disturbance. A man who had been previously banned from the residence was issued a citation for third-degree trespassing.

12:50 p.m: An officer joined a felony traffic stop on East Montezuma Avenue for alleged vehicle theft, arresting a man who reportedly took the vehicle without permission, drove with a revoked license and while under the influence.

7:22 p.m.: An officer responded to Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., for a vehicle break-in attempt, arresting a woman on suspicion of trespassing. The woman was previously banned from Walmart.

Tuesday, July 8

2:19 a.m. An officer served a man who turned himself in for a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

5:07 p.m. A woman was arrested on a warrant after police received complaints about her allegedly harassing and threatening another woman over text.

Wednesday, July 9

9:03 a.m.: An officer conducted a welfare check at a residence on East Empire Street, arresting a woman on a warrant.

5:19 p.m.: An officer responded to a residence on South Beech Street for a call regarding a protection order. Police arrested a man on a warrant for alleged theft from Walmart.

6:16 p.m.: An officer went to Sleeping Ute Apartments, 516 S. Madison St., for a trespassing report. A man who had previously been banned from the location was issued a citation for third-degree trespassing.

7:31 p.m.: An officer responded to Cozy Inn, 440 S. Broadway, for a drunk driving report. The vehicle, which was driven by a man with three female passengers, was found to have alcohol containers inside. The man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, driving on a revoked license, failing to present proof of insurance, failing to display valid registration and possessing open alcohol containers in a motor vehicle.

5:50 p.m. An officer responded to Fiesta Mexicana Restaurant, 2604 E. Main St., for a vehicle issue, arranging a later arrest for a man with a warrant.
