Thursday, April 18

1:35 p.m. An officer served a warrant to a man in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

4:38 p.m. An officer arrested a man on a warrant in the 300 block of W. Main St.

5:26 p.m. An officer responding to a possible domestic violence call at 1402 N. Mildred Road. A man was arrested on a warrant, and cited with violation of two protection orders, one for staying 100 yards away from a protected person and a protection order that states he shall not possess or consume alcohol.

Friday, April 19

12:01 a.m. An officer served a warrant to a man in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

7:31 a.m. An officer issued a summons to a man for trespassing at City Market, 508 E. Main St.

8:54 a.m. An officer issued a summons to a man for trespassing at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St. The man stated to the officer that he knew he was trespassing and was just cutting across the parking lot.

12:19 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of violating a trespass protection order and a protection order that states he shall not possess or purchase a firearm or other weapon at 2 E. Andrew Lane.

5:05 p.m. A man was arrested under suspicion of violating a protection order at 1815 Rampart St.

8:16 p.m. An officer arrested a man on a warrant at 513 S. Beech St.

Saturday, April 20

8:46 a.m. A man was arrested on a warrant at the Family Dollar, 324 S. Broadway.

1:46 p.m. An officer cited a woman with speeding 40 mph in a 30 mph zone, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and displaying expired number plates outside of Seventh Street Bridge, 1580 E. Seventh St.

4:29 p.m. A woman was arrested under suspicion of violating a protection order that states she shall not possess or consume alcohol, violating a protection order that states she shall not possess or purchase weapons, second-degree assault on a peace officer, and third-degree assault at 501 S. Madison St.

4:33 p.m. A woman was arrested on a warrant at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., after being questioned about her involvement with an individual suspected of shoplifting and who left her stolen goods in her vehicle.

10:06 p.m. A woman was arrested under suspicion of violating a protection order that states she shall not possess or consume alcohol and for trespass protection order for being at a residence in the Happy Valley Trailer Park, 203 E. Seventh St.

Sunday, April 21

6:57 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of harassment and domestic violence at 220 N. Harrison St.

2:19 p.m. A man was arrested on two warrants at Safeway, 1580 E. Main St.

8:02 p.m. An officer arrested a man on suspicion of violating a protection order that states he shall not possess or consume alcohol at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St.

8:14 p.m. An officer arrested a man on a warrant while investigating a report of illegal dumping was made in the 1300 block of Mesa Verde St.

Monday, April 22

12:55 a.m. An officer transported a woman to be medically cleared at the Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road before her arrest for a warrant and being placed into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:29 a.m. An officer arrested a man with five warrants who was turning himself into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

4:23 p.m. An officer arrested a man on a warrant at Speedway, 921 E. Main St.

4:54 p.m. An officer took a report for a violation of a civil protection order and his request for an arrest warrant for the violation at the Madison House, 120 S. Madison St.

6 p.m. An officer took a report for shoplifting at Choice Lumber, 525 N. Broadway.

Tuesday, April 23

10:51 a.m. A woman was arrested under suspicion of violating a never-expiring trespass order and vehicle theft at City Market, 508 E. Main St. The woman left with an electric shopping cart worth $3,500 that belonged to the grocery store.

4:55 p.m. An officer arrested a man under suspicion of violating a protection order that states he shall not possess or consume controlled substances at Montezuma Park, 15 W. Montezuma Ave.

7:39 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, failure to provide proof of insurance, and signal lamps and devices as required at 1500 E. Montezuma Ave.

10:33 p.m. An officer issued a man a summons for trespassing at City Market, 508 E. Main St.

Wednesday, April 24

7:49 a.m. An officer issued two men separate summons for trespassing for sleeping on the sidewalk at Front Row Seat, 610 E. Main St. The officer was called back to the location because the one of the men was outside of the DaVita Cortez Dialysis Center office trying to enter the establishment and an employee was holding the door closed to keep him out of their establishment. The man was arrested and placed into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
