Thursday, Aug. 31

7:48 a.m. Two men in a trash truck in the 400 block of Arbecam Avenue backed into power pole and damaged the conduit.

11:13 a.m. A woman at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., was remanded into custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on two warrants.

11:21 a.m. A woman found that her truck had been hit and damaged while parked at City Market, 508 E. Main St.

3:36 p.m. A man turned himself over to the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on a warrant

4:25 p.m. A woman punched another woman in the face multiple times at Veterans Park, 802 E. Main St., and was cited with assault.

6:10 p.m. A man urinating on the back of a building in the 2200 block of East Main Street was cited with indecent exposure.

Friday, Sept. 1

7:52 a.m. A woman in the 200 block of North Henry Street noticed her purse was missing from her vehicle.

1:50 p.m. A woman at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., who was dancing on a pole and removing clothing was arrested after she pulled down her pants and underwear in front of an officer who told her she would be receiving summons. The woman was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure.

6:46 p.m. A man in the 600 block of East Fifth Street was arrested on a warrant.

10:02 p.m. An officer sought a warrant for the arrest of a man on suspicion of violating a protection order by contacting a woman via text message and phone call.

Saturday, Sept. 2

12:20 a.m. A red vehicle with three people inside, being followed by a white vehicle, was firing off .308 rounds into the air while driving Westbound in 1000 block of East Second Street. The person firing off the rounds was a high school boy.

8:36 a.m. In the 200 block of South Elm Street, the 400 block of West Third Street and the 300 block of East Third Street were vehicles that had been rummaged through and had things taken from them. Cash, cards, a purse, a softball bag, clothing and a backpack were all taken. The softball bag was found, but the cleats inside were no longer in it.

12:58 p.m. A man in Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., was arrested on two warrants.

4:47 p.m. A man who attempted to leave City Market, 508 E. Main St., with a case of beer without paying was cited with shoplifting

6:16 p.m. A woman in the 700 block of East Second Street noticed her driver’s license was missing and believed it to be stolen by someone she knows.

7:20 p.m. A man on the sidewalk of City Market, 508 E. Main St., was arrested on suspicion of trespassing as he was issued a trespassing notice earlier in the day and was refusing to leave.

8:41 p.m. A man in the Walmart parking lot, 1835 E. Main St., was cited with violating a protection order.

9:38 p.m. A man at City Market, 508 E. Main St., was arrested on a warrant and cited with trespassing.

Sunday, Sept. 3

10:14 a.m. A man who allegedly took coffee and dog food without paying from City Market, 508 E. Main St., was cited with theft.

1:30 p.m. A woman noticed a tire on her vehicle in the 600 block of East Second Street had been stabbed.

3:11 p.m. A man who kicked a woman in the face, in the 200 block of East Seventh Street, was arrested on suspicion of harassment and assault.

6 p.m. An employee of Days Inn, 2604 E. Main St., was approached by his father who began throwing things. The employee forced his father out of the office and was punched twice in the face by his father. The father was arrested on suspicion of menacing and assault.

6:15 p.m. A woman at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., was arrested on a warrant and was cited with possessing an open container and possessing alcohol in park.

5:44 p.m. A man tried to pay with a fake $100 dollar bill at Chevron Gas Station, 717 S. Broadway. The attendant told the man it was fake, and he left. The attendant turned it over to an officer.

Monday, Aug. 4

10:23 a.m. A man drinking with several other people in one of the bays of First Street Car Wash, 21 S. Harrison St., was arrested on a warrant.

10:30 a.m. A woman in the lower 100 block of East Montezuma Avenue playing music in her car loud enough to be hear several block away and making threats at another woman was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.

1:06 p.m. An officer served a warrant to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

4:49 p.m. A man in the Arby’s parking lot, 504 S. Broadway, was arrested on a warrant.

9:39 p.m. A man who tried fighting another man in an alley in the lower 100 block of East Main Street was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and harassment.

Tuesday, Aug. 5

5:25 p.m. A woman at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., was arrested on two warrants and cited with trespassing and resisting arrest.

5:57 p.m. A man hitting a stop sign with a longboard in the 500 block of North Market Street was arrested on two warrants.

7:26 p.m. A man who fought another man at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., was arrested at Dolores State Bank, 744 E. Main St., on suspicion of assault.

8:59 p.m. A woman at a residence in the 600 block of East Second Street was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.
