Thursday, Oct. 20

12:58 a.m., A man who called for medical assistance in the 400 block of South Cedar Street was arrested on a warrant.

10:31 a.m., Propane tanks were reported stolen from Speedway, 2310 E. Main St.

1:56 p.m., A man in the 800 block of South Market Street was arrested on a warrant.

2:33 p.m., A woman was cited on suspicion of theft and trespassed from Quality Inn, 1120 E. Main St., after her employer noticed money was missing from a coin machine.

3:27 p.m., A woman was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order in the 100 block of Elm St.

5:05 p.m., A bicyclist ran into the back of a van in the 200 block of north Adams Street.

5:36 p.m., A bike found in the 700 block of Wedgewood Street was turned over to officers.

7:39 p.m., A man was reported shoplifting from Safeway, 1580 E. Main St.

9:05 p.m., A man seen lying in the parking lot of Front Row Seat, 610 E. Main St., was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.

Friday, Oct. 21

8:38 a.m., A man was cited on suspicion of failing to yield after he pulled out a driveway in the 400 block of North State Street and into the path of a vehicle.

12:09 p.m., A man was cited on suspicion of careless driving after he made a wide turn and ran into a vehicle in the lower 100 block of North Henry Street.

1:27 p.m., Work tools were reported stolen in the 1200 block of Main Street.

1:52 p.m., A report was made for the theft of several tool that were taken from a shed in the 1300 block of East Empire Street on Oct. 16.

6:06 p.m., A man who was pulled over for speeding in the 500 block of East Main Street was cited on suspicion of driving with a revoked license.

Saturday, Oct. 22

6:28 a.m., A report of suspicious activity was made in the 600 block of South Chestnut Street after several people heard someone knocking on doors and windows but saw no one.

11:58 a.m., An officer served a warrant to someone in the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

12:40 p.m., A man walked up to a car in the parking lot of Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., opened the driver’s door and punched the driver in the face. The driver pulled out a gun, and the man left.

4:49 p.m., A report of a hit-and-run was made at Sonic, 436 South Broadway, after a man noticed his car had a dent.

8:44 p.m., Arson was suspected in a fire in the 300 block of North Park Street after a bottle of isopropyl alcohol was found at the scene.

Sunday, Oct. 23

2:02 a.m., A man was arrested at Sleeping Ute Apartments, 516 S. Madison St., on suspicion on of disorderly conduct after he kept trying to break into an apartment in front of officers.

4:32 a.m., A man was arrested at Sleeping Ute Apartments, 516 S. Madison St., on suspicion of drunken driving and underage drinking.

2:23 p.m., A report was made for a stolen license plate that might have been taken in Farmington or in the 1000 block of South Chestnut St.

3:09 p.m., A man was arrested at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., for a warrant.

6:27 p.m., A man was reported to have drugs on him at the Bridge Shelter, 735 N. Park St. An officer collected the drugs and cited him for suspicion of unlawful possession of a Schedule II drug. The man was trespassed from the property for a year.

Monday, Oct, 24

9:27 a.m., A woman was arrested after be intoxicated at Montezuma Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. She was served a failure to appear warrant as well.

10:14 a.m., A man was arrested at City Market, 508 E. Main St., on a warrant.

4:14 p.m., A man was served four warrants the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

6:49 p.m., Someone lost a laptop at Holiday Inn Express, 2121 E. Main St.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

12:37 p.m., A hit-and-run that occurred Oct. 25 was reported the Methodist Thrift Shop parking lot, 444 E. Main St.

1:38 p.m, A woman reported someone called her pretending to be Capitol One Bank and requested she purchase several gift cards as she had won a prize. She purchased the gift cards and gave him the information.

1:26 p.m., A woman reported that over a year she had sent around $30,000 in gift cards to a man who said he would share lottery winnings with her if she sent him the gift cards.

1:44 p.m., A woman was cited for failure to yield after driving into a car in the intersection of Montezuma Avenue and North Park Street.

6:15 p.m., A man was arrested after an alleged sexual assault in an alley in the 100 block of North Madison Street.
