The second annual Cortez Pickleball Tournament will be held Sept. 11 and 12 at Mildred and Montezuma Courts.

The tournament will feature men’s and women’s doubles on Saturday and mixed doubles and singles on Sunday. The double-elimination tournament will have winner’s brackets with best two out of three, games to 11 and a consolation bracket with one game to 15. Levels are 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 and above.

Coffee, light breakfast treats and lunch are provided. Bring a refillable water bottle. Water and electrolyte mix will be available. Door prizes will be given away to participants.

Masks are required check-in. Yellow Dura Fast 40 balls are provided. First-, second- and third-place finishers in each level and category will receive a medal.

Bleachers are available in front of the courts, but attendees may also bring a chair.

Funds raised benefit Friends of Recreation for a Healthy Community.

Entry is $25 per person for the first event and $10 per person for the second event. Register by Sept. 8 at www.onwardfoundation.org.
