Photos: Peregrine falcon visits downtown Durango

Mike Fauteaux holds his peregrine falcon, Jack, on Friday while working at the Screen Savers kiosk on Main Avenue. Fauteaux, a licensed falconer for 42 years, took Jack, one of four chicks, out of the nest at 12 days old. Jack is now 72 days old. Fauteaux, an Aztec resident, is training Jack to hunt ducks.
