Sensational journalism is everywhere and now it appears in Montezuma County as well. The front page photo (Journal, April 26) of a man being arrested, gagged and forcibly removed from his grandmother’s home is a degradation of the man, the police force and the Journal.

Police-state mentality that brutalizes a person’s right to privacy and smacks aside the assumption of innocence is bolstered with the help of photos like these. It’s unfortunate that the Journal had to stoop this low to sell papers.
