HALF-PRICE PETS!!! Adoption fees at the shelter will be half price for the next week to try to find these wonderful pets loving homes. This weeks’ pet of the week is this adult Pekingese mix male. He is a great little guy that loves to go on walks and play with other dogs. He is full of energy and does require a fenced yard. He would make a great addition to a family with older children, as he is not sure of smaller kids. He gets along great with other dogs and is quite curios of cats. The Cortez Animal shelter also has a lot of colorful kittens for adoption as well. The Cortez Animal Shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and closed every other Friday for intensive cleaning.
