A Basket of Puppies! These cute puppies are a cow dog mix of Black Mouth Cur, Australian Shepherd and Border Collie. Four of them have naturally bobbed tails and one has a full tail. They are very smart puppies and would make excellent cattle dogs as well as companions to a farmer. Dogs of these breeds need to have plenty of room to exercise and play. They are quick learners and are very loyal companions to their humans. In this litter there are 4 females and 1 male. These puppies will be available for adoption on Tuesday, May 28th. The Cortez Animal Shelter is open Monday through Friday and closed every other Friday. The shelter will be closed this Friday and also Monday, May 27th in observance of Memorial Day. The fee for adoption includes spay or neuter, first vaccines excluding rabies, microchip, and free health exam at any of the local vets.
