Local PERA retirees want to help people with retirement planning and are sponsoring a free Retirement Planning Seminar from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sept. 21 in the Calvin Denton room of Empire Electric.

After a continental breakfast, expert speakers including Dennis Gaitlin, PERA director of Field Education Services, will present useful and up-to-date information about the PERA system, supplementing PERA retirement and concerns about the health of the PERA fund.
