People lined up to buy pizza Sunday at Mancos Pizza.

Owners Pet Loyd and Rob Kirks announced that they would give 50 percent of all pizza sales on Feb. 8 to Hayden Kocourek, a local boy with kidney failure, and Gary Baker, another Mancos local with medical problems.

The community responded well.

"It went very good," Loyd said.

There were times the line was out the door Sunday as people lined up to get some pizza and help local families, Loyd said.

"We raised about $2,000 for the boys," Loyd said. "That's a lot of pizzas."
