Pueblo Community College Southwest will host the inaugural Southwest Career and Technical Education Summit on Friday, Feb. 20, at its Mancos campus, 33057 U.S. Highway 160, to promote collaboration among high school and college educators, industry representatives and community partners.
The event will open check‑in at 8 a.m., with the program starting at 8:30 a.m. The summit aims to build relationships, strengthen pathways from education to careers and support career and technical education teaching. It will also address regional workforce needs.
Participants will take part in discussions, collaboration opportunities, breakout sessions and an industry open house.
The summit supports efforts to strengthen and promote CTE programs through partnerships that prepare students for high‑demand jobs.
