On voting: ‘Something smells fishy’

Has your vote been counted yet? Mine hasn’t . . . yet. “Colorado law requires us to compare the signature on your return envelope with the signatures in your voter registration record in order to verify your identity. Unfortunately, either your return envelope did not have a signature, or we were unable to verify your signature with those on file.”

I signed it. I checked twice. This has never happened before. My hands aren’t shaky.

How are signatures compared? A machine or does somebody just give er’ a look-see? Wonder if they see how you vote first?

Oh, and what is the law 24-71.3-107? Least ya could do is cite it if you are going to steal my right to vote.

“In order for your ballot to count, you must complete, sign, and return the enclosed form by 7/6/2022. Please note that you will also be required to return a photocopy of your identification.”

It further goes on to tell me that if I ignore this notice, “we will also turn over this discrepancy to the District Attorney’s Office for investigation.”

If anyone else has gotten this notice, I’d like to have a talk with you. I'm a registered independent. We need to know if this is a discriminatory practice.

Something smells fishy to me.
