Not entitled to your own facts

In a recent letter to the editor (“Life is Grim Under Biden's Leadership”), a Journal reader lamented how Democratic leadership is “ruining our economy” thanks in part to “retirement accounts that are not increasing but losing money.”

Ironically, however, on the day the letter appeared, the Dow, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite all hit record highs, unemployment fell from 6.3% (when President Joe Biden took office) to 4.6%, and the country had just added 531,000 new jobs in October.

Indeed, since President Biden took office, the U.S. has added over 5.6 million jobs – more jobs in his first nine months than in the last three Republican administrations, spanning 16 years, combined.

Sorry, but as the old saying goes, you’re entitled to your own opinions, but not to your own facts.
