The Region 9 Economic Development District of Southwest Colorado has announced a new board member.

Tommy Crosby was approved at Region 9’s September board of directors meeting to become Durango’s new representative.

Crosby became the city’s business development and redevelopment coordinator last year. He has a geography degree from the University of Denver, and his experience includes environmental sustainability consulting with DaVita Kidney Care, podcast production with The Spoken Tour, and most recently with Metro Caring managing food access operations for the anti-hunger organization focused on the root cause of hunger.
