Mr. Kneel Hip-Hop launches reading program

The Cortez Journal

The 2015 Cortez Public Library’s Summer Reading Program’s Family Entertainment Series will kick off with Mr. Kneel Hip-Hop for families on Wednesday, June 3, at 2 p.m.

Join Neil McIntyre and his special blend of hip-hop for an entertaining hour of fun! Neil provides wholesome lyrics (his songs revolve around lessons like the benefits of vegetables and dental hygiene) and sound unquestionably hip. Jazzy beats back up his rhymes and his act is geared toward younger listeners and older kids. It’s real hip-hop, but done in a wholesome way that will make parents cool with what their kids are listening to. Neil tells every hero’s story.

This entertainment if brought to you by Golden Dreams under Onward!, a Legacy Foundation.

The library is at 202 N. Park St., Cortez, and may be reached by calling 970-565-8117.
