Montezuma County has another confirmed positive case of COVID-19, as of April 16, according to the public health department.

This brings the total number of positive cases in the county up to 13, with two fatalities.

County and health officials are not releasing details about the infected individuals because of privacy laws, but they continue to urge residents to wash their hands thoroughly and practice social distancing.
