Doug and Mary Sparks of Dolores, Colorado announce the recent marriage of their daughter, Genevieve Marie Sparks, to Adam Jay Brechtel, of Rapid City, S.D. Both Genevieve and Adam are recent graduates from the University of New Mexico. Genevieve received a bachelor of arts degree in mass communication and management, while Adam completed a master’s degree in elementary education. They were married on May 12, 2013, at the Newman Center Catholic parish next to the university campus. The new couple will be making their home in the Albuquerque area, where both will be working. Doug and Mary would like to thank all of those who were able to attend the ceremony in Albuquerque, for helping make it a wonderful celebration. On June 22, 2013, they will hold a local reception for the new couple at their residence, 16749 Road 26, Dolores, beginning at 2 p.m. and running through the afternoon.
