The Mancos Valley Summer Brewfest returns from 2 to 8 p.m. Aug. 15 at Mancos Brewing Co., offering its trademark staples that include live music, local craft beverages, food and family activities while raising funds for three community organizations.
Proceeds from the event will be split among Mancos Valley Resources, Mancos FoodShare and the Mancos United Summer Hub.
Doors open at 1 p.m., and music will begin at 2 p.m. with the Quarter Moon Trio. The trio will be followed by Mean Irene at 4 p.m. and Galavant at 6 p.m.
Beer will be served by Mancos Brewery, Carvers Brewing Co. and Anarchy Brewing, while wine and cider will come from Fenceline. Drinks are available by token exchange only, and tokens will be available for purchase at the ID tents.
Food will be available from Yia Yia’s, Jakes Farm and Mancos Brewery. Informational booths and vendor tents will be on-site, including Starhopper Henna. Attendees can take part in a silent auction inside the brewery. An area created especially for child attendees will also be available.
Advance tickets cost $15, and day-of tickets will be priced at $20. Student tickets for ages 13-18 are $5, but children 12 and under are free. Tickets are available in person at Mancos Brewing Co. or online at Eventbrite. Tickets went on sale July 19.
Limited parking at the brewery costs $5, but organizers encourage carpooling. Once parking at the brewery is full, additional parking is available at the Mancos Bus Barn at the corner of Ervien and East Frontage Road.
Attendees should bring their own chairs. A gravel area will be available for shade coverings, and water will be provided. Organizers asked that dogs be left at home.
