The Mancos Valley Chamber of Commerce will open a new visitor center this spring and celebrate with a membership gala on Thursday, May 7.
The visitor center will be located in the same building as Millie’s Cafe.
The event is open to current chamber members and those interested in joining. It will include a recap of the past year, an overview of future plans and a first look at the new visitor center. Attendees will also sample food prepared by Millie’s Cafe’s chef.
The chamber said the new location features highway-facing signage and sits at a “prime spot” on Grand Avenue at Main Street, with outdoor seating and visibility to more than one million vehicles that travel U.S. Highway 160 into Mancos each year.
Businesses and individuals may also become visitor center sponsors. Sponsors will receive recognition on the chamber’s social media, website and newsletter, along with logo placement inside the visitor center.
RSVP’s RSVPs are available at www.mancosvalley.com/chamber-events.
