A volunteer guide gives a tour for tourists at the Canyons of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum west of Dolores. Annual visitation has been steadily increasing.
On Tuesday, Mancos students will be showcasing some project-based learning at the Canyons of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum.
The work displayed is the result of a collaborative project by some middle and high school students, and is part of the school district’s push toward project-based learning.
The public is invited to the event, which will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 4.
