Parents and community members are invited to the Mancos School Board Candidate Forum on Monday, Sept. 29, at 6 p.m. in the Mancos School cafeteria, where moderator Kyler Grandkoski will guide discussion among four candidates vying for two open seats.
Board President Emily Hutchison-Brown and board member Victor Figueroa seek reelection. The other candidates are Craig McClure and Kira Taylor.
The evening will begin with a welcome from 6 to 6:15 p.m., followed by the candidate forum from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. Attendees may then meet and mingle with the candidates from 7:30 to 8 p.m.
Community members are encouraged to submit questions for the candidates. A virtual viewing option will also be available to accommodate remote attendees.
