The Mancos School Board would like to thank the Mancos Community for passing the bond! We couldn’t have done it without the Bond Committees’ hours of hard work and dedication.

Those members who deserve recognition include: Anne Benson, Emily Brown, Alan Mathews, Kaelan Everett, Ron and Frieda Knezek, Connie Small, Betsy Harrison, Linda Simmons and Clara Martinez. These individuals put in countless hours to get the word out about this once in a lifetime opportunity. They hosted tours of the historic school buildings and held a public information meeting at the town library to answer any remaining questions.

We are so excited about what this outcome will mean to our school and our town for the current and future generations of Mancos students. We could not have accomplished any of this without the support of our community and for that we will be forever grateful.

Thank you, again, to those who voted for and supported this remarkable opportunity. We are ready to get to work!
