The Mancos PTA is encouraging parents, teachers and community members to join the organization and help support students and families.
The PTA supports teacher appreciation efforts, family movie nights at the Opera House, Family STEM Night, classroom snacks and the annual Read-a-Thon. Organizers said they welcome new ideas.
Membership helps build a culture of community and support for all Mancos students, the PTA said.
The PTA encourages residents to attend its next meeting to reflect on the year and set new goals. It’s 6:15 p.m. May 5 at the Mancos Public Library, 211 First St.
