Join Mancos Library’s teen librarian for two reading sessions from 10 a.m. to noon June 5 and June 19 at Boyle Park in Mancos.
Teen summer reading in the park encourages teens to expand their reading horizons.
Take this opportunity to #ReadWoke. According to Cicely Lewis, a woke book will challenge a social norm, give voice to the voiceless, provide information about a group that has been disenfranchised, or seek to challenge the status quo. The book also might feature a protagonist from an underrepresented or oppressed group. Tell teen librarian Jenni about your book and receive a surprise prize.
