Mancos’ Cult Movie Federation has unveiled its fall 2025 film lineup, featuring a diverse selection of cult classics that will be featured at the Mancos Opera House.

The screenings, which will support the Mancos Public Library, are a collaboration between the library, the opera house and the Mancos Creative District.

Organizers shared that the movie titles cannot be mentioned in promotions because of licensing restrictions.

The schedule kicked off Thursday, and the next screening will be in September.

On Thursday, Sept. 18, a Coen Brothers comedy featuring Jeff Bridges will screen, followed by a David Lynch classic on Thursday, Oct. 16. October will conclude with a “campy,” Halloween-themed musical on Thursday, Oct. 30, known for its fishnets and interactive sing-along and dance-along moments, according to organizers.

A “People’s Choice” film will be shown on Thursday, Nov. 20. The season will wrap up Thursday, Dec. 18 with Frank Capra’s 1946 Christmas classic.

All screenings take place at the Mancos Opera House, 136 W. Grand Ave. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the films will start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5, with popcorn and soft drinks available for $1. Attendees may bring food, and those 21 and older can bring alcohol in closed containers.

Ticket holders will also receive 10% off canned beer and bottled wine at Hand in Hand Shop, 128 Grand Ave. in Mancos.
