The Farmington Police Department is investigating a shooting at the Farmington Inn.

Police were called to 510 Scott Ave. at 5:22 p.m. Thursday Aug. 3 to investigate a shooting in Room 129, where they found a man shot in the back, according to the police incident log.

There were several people involved, and all fled in a vehicle, according to the incident log.

The man was taken to San Juan Regional Medical Center for surgery. His status is unknown.

Police reportedly found the vehicle, but no suspects, according to the incident log.
