Andrew Garrett Barry allegedly stole a box of Snickers and $750
Andrew Garrett Barry, a 57-year-old, was arrested by Cortez police Tuesday in connection with a gas station robbery that occurred nearly two years ago.
The robbery, reported Nov. 23, 2023, occurred at the Good to Go gas station in Cortez at 302 W. Main St., according to the Cortez Police Department.
An employee of the gas station reported that a long-haired Caucasian man stole nearly $750 and a box of Snickers, then fled in a silver Chevy Traverse with Colorado plates.
An arrest warrant was issued Dec. 28, 2023. According to police, Barry was arrested Tuesday.
A plea hearing for Barry is scheduled for Sept. 25 in Montezuma County Combined Courts.
