On Thursday, April 13th, from 6-8 pm at the county courthouse at 109 W Main Street, the Montezuma County Planning and Zoning Commission will review a High Impact Permit for 35 acres at 25716 Road L that is zoned INDHZ.
A large-scale gravel operation is proposed which may include plans for a hot batch asphalt plant. This site is bordering city limits near Carpenter Natural Area, Southwest Memorial Hospital, nursing homes, residences, etc.
Public comments will be taken at the meeting. If you are at all interested or concerned, now is the time to make your voice heard.
