Graveside services for Loyd Marvin Osborne formerly of Cortez, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at the Summit Ridge Cemetery near Dolores. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion.

Ellis was born in Telluride, to John Ellis Osborne, and Lucille Lavender Osborne.

In January 1959, Loyd joined the U.S. Navy. He passed away in Wasilla, Alaska.

Loyd is survived by his sons, Luke of Cottonwood, Calif.. and Clay of Sacramento, Calif.; his sister Lou Ellis Kramer (Virgil), and brother Arthur Osborne (Barbara); grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
