When it's eventually revealed that Charlie Kirk's assassin was a trans activist, as I suspect it will, the left will use the event to attack the Constitution. Of course, the Second Amendment will be targeted but their main focus will be the First Amendment. “Hate Speech” will be blamed for his death, they will want to pass laws limiting free speech.
Look for more states to pass laws similar to Colorado's Kelly Loving Act, or HB 1312, which makes it a crime to misgender or “deadname” a person. The law applies to schools, workplaces, courtrooms and even your home where you can no longer tell your child that their plumbing denies their delusion.
Look for Colorado to expand this travesty to the church and limit their ability to call out sin and depravity. The press will not be able to mention a wrongdoer's sexual orientation. Posts like this will be illegal. The right to peaceably assemble will also be attacked as a contributing factor.
That's right friends and neighbors, the left will blame liberty for killing Charlie Kirk.
