I am writing in response to the recent letter to the editor by Barbara Grist (Journal, Oct. 25) who claims that if we want someone who has “family values at heart,” we should vote for Hillary Clinton. The problem is that Hillary is a strong defender of late-term abortions.

Killing a baby in the womb at nine months is hardly supporting “family values.” As many obstetricians have noted, a late term abortion is never necessary to save the life of the mother. According to the latest data, about 18,000 third trimester abortions are performed every year.

If you value children, you will not vote for Hillary Clinton.
