Kelloff puts public lands at forefront

Alex Kelloff has been part of ranching and public lands for four generations. He and his family have lived, run cattle, hunted, fished and worked with local communities from Trinidad and the San Luis Valley to the Wyoming border.

He is one of the few candidates running in the Western United States who is making public lands a central part of his campaign while seeking to serve the citizens of Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District.

These 20 million acres of National Forest, Bureau of Land Management and National Park lands are the headwaters and source of Colorado’s major rivers. They also generate more than $30 billion through hunting, fishing, river running, hiking and wildlife watching.

Public lands are western Colorado’s economy and the heart of our home and lifestyle.
