Kart Kanyon features some of region’s top drivers

Saturday night program headlined by local and regional drivers

AZTEC – Kart Kanyon featured nearly 40 drivers participating last Saturday night, with some of the top drivers from around the Four Corners take part.

Albuquerque’s Justin Weber scored a win in the Stock Class, beating Dove Creek’s Camron Spangler. They were followed across the finish line by Rivver Higgins, Robbyn Davies and Mark Rodgers.

Khloé Tenski soared to the checkered flag in the Youth Red Plate Division and was followed by Brendan McLaughlin, Brayton Carley, Griffyn Bandy and Skyla O’Brien.

Bob Harter collected another win in the Super Stock division, followed by Bowyer Carley, Tyrone Yazzie, Justin Weber and Ramon Saiz.

In the Youth Rookie Class division, Alei Dineltsoi scored a trip to victory lane, beating Garron Bandy, Brodie Rector, Kaiden Yazzie and Josh Allen.

Six drivers in the Stock Division ran a Dash for Cash with $50 on the line. Ramon Saiz soared past the competition to score the win and the money.

Next up, Aztec Speedway will be back in action this Friday and Saturday night, followed by Fairgrounds Speedway in Cortez, featuring a weekend of action Aug. 25 and Aug. 26, as well as another Saturday program at Kart Kanyon on Aug. 26.
