The Lawrence brothers continue to dominate the 2025 Supercross season. At Round 7 of the 2025 Motocross season at Spring Creek, Hunter Lawrence claimed the first win of the day, and Jett Lawrence won the second race to take the overall victory for the weekend.

In the first race, the Jett Lawrence claimed the hole shot, followed closely by Hunter Lawrence, a move commentators noted as “deadly” for racers who aren’t able to beat the brothers to the lead. A “costly” mistake by Jett Lawrence in the first lap, however, caused him to crash, allowing Aaron Plessinger, Eli Tomac, Chase Sexton and R.J. Hampshire to pass him.

Tomac quickly moved to second as Jett Lawrence passed Hampshire in an attempt to get back to the front of the pack. By the 19-minute mark, Jett Lawrence had moved to third place and was putting pressure on Tomac for second.

Though he nearly crashed again, Jett Lawrence managed to stay upright and make his way around Tomac, setting his sights on Hunter.

In the final lap of the race, Hunter Lawrence led first place Jett Lawrence by 15 seconds. Tomac fell to sixth behind Sexton, Hampshire and Justin Cooper.

Hunter won the race for his first victory of the 2025 season.

In the second race, Jett Lawrence “rockets” to the lead while Hunter Lawrence rode in second, something that has become a trademark of the season. Coty Schock rode in third, while Tomac started in 13th.

Sexton and Hampshire quickly moved past Jorge Prado and Schock to make a move on the top positions. By the eight-minute mark of the race, Jett Lawrence still rode in first, with Hunter Lawrence close behind in second. Sexton, who rode in third, was behind the brothers by 18 seconds.

Jett Lawrence placed first to keep his overall record for the season undefeated, while Hunter Lawrence took second and Sexton third.

Round 8 will take place in Washougal, Washington, on Saturday.
