After winning both races during Round 10 of the 2025 Motocross season, Jett Lawrence officially secured his second overall Motocross victory. His brother, Hunter Lawrence, is ranked second and Eli Tomac third overall.
In the first race at Unadilla on Saturday, Jorge Prado claimed the hole shot, while Hunter Lawrence followed in second and R.J. Hampshire in third. Tomac raced the first lap in sixth and Jett Lawrence in seventh.
Soon, Hampshire moved to first and Hunter Lawrence passed Prado for second. Jett Lawrence moved to fourth.
Jett Lawrence and Ken Roczen passed Prado, while Tomac moved to fifth and began battling Roczen for fourth.
Jett Lawrence moved to the lead, while Tomac quickly surpassed the racers ahead of him to take third place.
Racers began picking up the pace, racing faster in the second half of the race, according to the commentators.
Jett Lawrence placed first, Hunter Lawrence second and Tomac third.
With the way the first race ended, the title was “right on the brink.” The second race would determine whether or not the fight for the title would move to Round 11 or end in Round 10.
In the second race, Hunter Lawrence took the hole shot, followed by Justin Cooper, Jett Lawrence and Hampshire. Tomac started in sixth.
“That was a bad jump by Jett Lawrence, but he was somehow able to figure it out,” announcers said.
Not long later, Jett Lawrence moved to first, passing his brother and Cooper. At the halfway point, Tomac and Cooper fought for third and Tomac successfully made the pass.
Jett Lawrence won the race, securing the overall title, with Hunter Lawrence placing second and Tomac third.
Round 11, the final, will be held at Budds Creek Motocross Park on Saturday, Aug. 23.
