The Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center celebrates the opening of a satellite office in Ignacio on Tuesday, Oct. 11, with a light breakfast from 9-11:30 a.m.

Meet Executive Director Dr. Liz Ross in the Annex Building, 116 Memorial Drive, Room 136 in Ignacio.

The Small Business Development Center’s Vision hopes to become the trusted choice for Colorado businesses for consulting, training and resources. The organization serves Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma and San Juan Counties, as well as the Ute Mountain and Southern Ute Tribes.

The satellite office will be open one day per week beginning Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Schedule an appointment to talk about business plan preparation, business start-up, loan proposal preparation, growth planning, business survival, marketing, industry research, government contracting and many other services.
